Hand-built from aerospace-grade titanium and a sliver of genuine Fordite.
The band is machined with a clean, modern profile: brushed titanium on the faces, a mirror-polished interior, and a series of fine circumferential grooves. Set into that channel is a thin pinstripe of Fordite — also called Detroit agate, or motor agate. It isn’t stone. It’s decades of automotive enamel, layered on the skids and racks of the old paint shops, baked hard with every car that went through, then cut and polished like a gem.
That red line is one of those original factory colors, frozen in place. No two pieces of Fordite are the same, so this inlay will never be repeated.
Titanium keeps it light, tough, and everyday-wearable. Hypoallergenic, scratch-resistant, and built for a life that doesn’t stay in a box. The finish is satin on the outside so it reads quiet and industrial; the inside is polished for comfort.
